Beutke Livestock may have got its official start in 2017, but the plans and vision for what it is today (and for the future) started long before that. Ashley and I both grew up showing cattle in Illinois and that’s how we met! When we got married in 2012, we knew that raising a family in agriculture would be a top priority no matter where life took us. The term “family farm” is something that means a lot to us and helps keep focus on what the ultimate goal is, which is raising good kids! Whether it is washing goats, fixing fence, or playing with the dogs, we try to do as much of it as we can as a family.

Kyle serves on the Board of Directors for both the Sangamon County Farm Bureau and the Lucky 13 Showdown.

Ashley graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelors in Ag Business. She is the Member Engagement Manager at Illinois Farm Bureau. She is also a certified health coach as well as a member of the Tri-City Education Foundation.

Kallen’s ideal day contains anything and everything outdoors. Along with working in the barn with his projects, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and shooting sports. His bow and his .22 rifle are two of his favorite things! He also has enjoyed growing his sheep project this year!

This 8 year old is all about that farm girl life. If it involves goats, cows, the barn or a puppy, she will follow you anywhere, just as long as one of those things is involved! Playing in the barn and getting dirty isn’t hard for this little girl!
